The Department of Hematology at Salus is a branch of internal medicine that deals with blood and the organs that make up the hematopoietic system. Part of the Hematology department are specialist doctors, Italian and Albanian, who deal with the diagnosis, treatment and general management of people with blood disorders, starting from anemia to blood cancer. The hematologist studies the causes, diagnosis, treatment, prognosis and prevention of blood diseases.
