EDUCATION
-In 1992, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" with excellent results
-In the academic year 1995-96, he participated in the specialization course on "Dysarthria and Dyslalie" at the Otorhinolaryngology Clinic of "La Sapienza" University of Rome.

-In November 1992, he won the first place in the competition to be admitted to the First School of Specialization in Otorhinolaryngology of the "La Sapienza" University of Rome with a corresponding scholarship according to CEE legislation.

-On November 29, 2002, he completed his specialization in Phoniatrics and Audiology at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", with the thesis entitled "Laryngological pathology from gastroesophageal reflux", with excellent results.

-From 1991 to 1994, he participated in numerous research projects as an ENT specialist, at the ENT Clinic of the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, mainly in the field of oncological surgery of the cervico-facial area.

EMPLOYMENT
-Surgeon specialized in Otorhinolaryngology and specialized in Audiology and Phoniatrics, in service since 1994 in the ENT Division of the S. Camillo Hospital in Rome, where since 2006 he holds the position of Head of the Phoniatrics Service.

- Since 1999, he has been a Technical Consultant for Otorhinolaryngology at the Civil Court in Rome.

– from 2022 he has an open position as Consultant Physician in Otolaryngology for the State, in the Vatican, offering weekly consulting activities in the internal clinic of the Vatican and surgical activity on behalf of the Vatican Health Assistance at the “Casa di Cura” Villa Benedetta .

-In April 1994, he was a Medical Assistant and effective Assistant in the Otorhinolaryngology Operating Unit of the Hospital "S. Camillo", in Rome

-From January 2006, he is the Head of the Phoniatrics Service, with an individual Alfa-3 work contract, participating in numerous multidisciplinary projects, including the field of Physiology, the field of Esophageal Pathology, the field of Dysphagia, bronchopneumopathies, the field of Pathology Pediatric ENT ETC.

-Member of SIO (Italian Society of ENT), AOOI (Association of Italian Hospital Otorhinolaryngologists) and SIFEL (Italian Society of Speech Medicine and Speech Therapy).

-Participant in the multidisciplinary and multicenter observational study Progetto M.A.R.E. (Atypical manifestations of esophageal reflux).

-Participant in the specialization course in Otoneurology at the University of Ferrara and in the specialization course in phonosurgery and speech therapy rehabilitation at the ENT of the Bufalini Hospital, in Cesena.

- Participant in the multidisciplinary and multicenter observational study Progetto M.A.R.E. (Atypical manifestations of esophageal reflux).

- Since 1994, he has performed surgical activities in all sectors of otolaryngology, with special dedication to laryngeal, oncological, functional, and cervicofacial surgery.

-In his 20-year experience, he has performed approximately 5,000 major surgical interventions.
