Erectile Dysfunction Can Be Treated

Erectile dysfunction, due to the closure of the penile artery, is treated by the International Cardiology Team at Salus Hospital with the method of angioplasty, a non-surgical intervention.

🔹Erectile dysfunction, known in everyday jargon as sexual impotence, is defined as the inability to achieve or maintain a sufficient erection during sexual intercourse.

🔹Erectile dysfunction is the most frequent sexual problem and appears in about 50% of men over 50 years old. This problem is a condition that negatively affects the quality of a person's life and couple relationships. Impotence can cause lack of self-confidence, depression, family problems and even negative situations like divorce.

🔹Although the cause was thought to be psychological in the past, erectile dysfunction can be the result of many other diseases. Cardiovascular problems, which consist in blocking the vessels that supply blood to the sexual organ, can become the cause of erectile dysfunction.

🔹Erectile dysfunction, due to vascular occlusion, is treated at Salus Hospital by the international cardiology team consisting of highly specialized doctors.
