What are nasal polyps and how is the treatment?

Nasal polyps, or in other words in everyday language "foreign flesh" are non-cancerous benign masses that grow in the nasal mucosa, but often the patient is unaware of their presence.
Nasal polyps can result from chronic inflammation due to repeated infections, asthma, allergies, drug sensitivity or immune disorders.
What does the treatment consist of?
In cases with not very pronounced enlargement, it is conservative with different medications with drops in the nose, or with general oral, intramuscular or venous routes.
In cases where conservative treatment fails or when the patient presents with acute problems, then surgical treatment should not be discouraged, which essentially reduces the adenoid mass.
